今天是元旦，台中市眷村國旗日活動今天上午10時在台中市西屯區大鵬新城一樓廣場登場，大鵬新城為眷村改建的社區，社區大門口插成排的國旗，台中市市長胡志強到場授旗，包括民代、民眾接下國旗後，高喊「新年快樂、中華民國萬歲！」
