科威特大選 什葉派慘敗

根據科威特官方今天(28日)稍早公布的國會大選結果，什葉派在這次選舉中，席次大減超過一半，自由派則稍有斬獲。這是科威特8個月以來舉行的第2次國會大選。

根據司法機關公布的國會大選最後結果，什葉派候選人在50個國會席次裡只獲得8席，跟去年12月贏得破紀錄的17席相比，少了超過一半。

科威特憲法法庭在6月16日作成裁定，將去年12月舉行、遭反對派杯葛的國會大選作廢，下令重新改選。

科威特人口390萬，69%是外國人，在123萬本地人當中，只有44萬人有資格投票。

根據司法機關公布的資料，這次大選的投票率有明顯提升，達到52.5%，遠超過去年12月的40%。
