2013年亞錦賽4強戰，中華隊開賽表現非常優異，一度取得9分領先，可惜第2節失誤過多，幸好「少俠」田壘讀秒階段的三分中的，半場暫以35：41落後。
經歷9日與中國的「血戰」，中華隊開局未見疲態，針對伊朗NBA中鋒Hamed Haddadi的防守策略明確，雖然被他連中三元，至少切斷他與其他隊友的連結。
第1節尾聲，洪志善、林志傑連續2記三分球命中，加上「溪湖」陳世杰刁鑽的轉身跳投得手，中華隊以23：14領先強敵伊朗。
第2節，伊朗開始針對中華隊後衛壓迫，成功製造多次失誤，連續4次快攻得手，拉出17：0攻勢，幸好戴維斯（Quincy Davis）3分30秒時靠著罰球得到球隊此節第1分。
上半場最後38秒，戴維斯接獲曾文鼎妙傳後雙手爆扣同時製造犯規，但他的頭部也遭對手無情劃破，立即下場止血，由田壘操刀完成「接力三分打」。 (接下一頁)
