美國總統歐巴馬28日接受電視專訪指出，敘利亞上周發動化武攻擊，將面臨「國際制裁」。但他明白表示，軍事行動是有限度的，避免美國捲入另一場中東戰爭。雖然美國與同盟還沒決定攻打敘利亞，但現在考量的不是「打不打」，而是「何時打」。
