【陳宏銘／台北報導】眾所矚目即將在十月上旬發表的新一代Toyota New Corolla Altis，新車還未發表，車型、配備已經流出，目前已知會有五個等級車型分別為雅致型、經典型、豪華型、尊爵型、運動Z版。以生產佔比來看，入門版雅致型佔了20%，這應當是把計程車的販售算了進去，經典型佔58%會是市場主力、其餘豪華型佔12%、尊爵型4%、運動Z版6%。

預計取消2.0升後，它將純以1.8升排氣量供市，搭載7速CVTi-S無段變速變速箱下，美規測試油耗每公升汽油可跑19.4公里。事實上，以和泰的習慣，會讓地區經銷商在經典型與豪華型之間插進一個加裝配備的特仕車型，所以這次上市前的教育訓練裡，就特別秀出了包括胎壓偵測感知器、抬頭顯示器、可插USB的後座頭枕螢幕等配件用品。
