雙語人 晚五年失智

英國和印度的研究發現，說兩種語言的人比只會一種語言的人晚四年半失智。

英國愛丁堡大學和印度「尼扎姆」醫學研究院研究人員，分析了印度「海德拉巴德」地區六百五十名失智症病患的背景。其中有六成會說兩種語言。結果發現，會兩種語言的人比只會一種的平均晚四點五年失智。

進一步分析又發現，說兩種語言的人得阿茲海默氏症的年紀，比說一種語言的要大上三年，得「額顳葉失智症」的年紀更晚到六年。

研究也發現，說兩種語言的人即使不識字，也比較晚失智。而會的語言超過兩種卻不會有更好的效果。

研究人員說，經常轉換不同聲音、想法、和文法都可以讓腦子不斷的動，延緩失智的時間。
