三商美邦人壽財務長楊棋材21日指出，到今(2013)年底公司可運用資金將達新台幣6000億元，在房市、股市都有加碼空間，其中，股市配置比重目標將從目前的6.5%提高至10%，房市目標是5%，也就是說，至年底前，預估還有逾百億加碼空間。
為慶祝成立滿20周年，三商美邦人壽21日宣布，與五月天聯合捐贈1000萬元給「五月天教育方舟」計畫，幫助中低收入戶的弱勢學童。楊棋材會中受訪時指出，三商美邦人壽今年首季業績表現不錯，單季稅後盈餘4.7億元，每股稅後純益(EPS)約0.4元，較去年同期轉虧為盈。
楊棋材並指出，今年1至4月三商美邦人壽業績也有明顯增長，初年度保費(FYP)衝上市佔第5名，較起去年同期的第9名提高不少，今年仍以分期繳的長天期終身壽險為主力產品。
在投資部分，楊棋材說，三商美邦人壽目前可運用資金約5400億元，預估年底可達6000億元，目前主要資產配置，海外固定收益約占37%，股票則為6.5%，不動產則約占4%。
不過，楊棋材表示，目前已向主管機關申請海外投資比重拉高至40%，只要獲准通過後，剔除外幣保單部分，可投資比重將可拉高至46%，換算約有4、5百億元的海外加碼空間。
在股市部分，楊棋材指出，目前國內外股票占可運用資金的6.5%，內部設定上限10%，其中，國內股票與國外股票比重約在7比3，至年底預估也有超過200億元的資金可投入，其中台股就可望達百億元。
至於選股原則，楊棋材說，國內以高現金股息殖利率為主，國外則側重大型權值股，內部並有專責部門，負責研究海外個股，包括美股、德股及義大利股市都有研究。
在不動產方面，三商美邦人壽希望年底可將投資比重拉高至5%，若以此換算，三商美邦人壽在不動產投資還有5、60億元的加碼空間。
