| 奢侈稅是財產稅改革的開路先鋒

財政部長張盛和日前對媒體表示，奢侈稅上路以來達成政策功效，包括：房屋量縮、房價平穩，若無奢侈稅，房價將比目前的溫和上漲更嚴重。因短期交易不動產者大部分都是高所得者，因此奢侈稅其實是量能課稅。而且課徵奢侈稅後，自住比重提高，顯示抑制投機需求，但不妨礙正常的自住需求，有助於房市健全發展。房仲業不僅新開家數多於關門店數，營建業還是近期不景氣環境下「最賺錢的行業」，代銷業者也支持奢侈稅有穩定房價的成效，顯示奢侈稅並未衝擊房地產業，因此奢侈稅顯然有必要維持。
