| 誤困囚室5天無吃無喝 美韓裔生獲賠4百萬美元

【大紀元2013年07月31日訊】（大紀元記者楊婕美國聖地亞哥報導）曾被遺忘在囚室四天半的韓裔學生丹尼爾•鍾（Daniel Chong）控告美聯邦政府的案子近日達成和解，聯邦政府給予鍾410萬美元的賠償，鍾也不會提出刑事訴訟。7月30日，鍾的律師尤金•艾爾代爾（Eugene Iredale）公佈了這一消息。
去年4月20日上午，鍾在聖地亞哥南部的University City地區和朋友聚會時，正碰上美國聯邦緝毒署聖地亞哥署進行突襲搜查，緝毒署從聚會地點搜出1萬8千個搖頭丸，大麻和其它毒品，以及幾支槍枝和數千發子彈，並抓捕了包括鍾在內的9人。
