義大犀牛力拚上半季冠軍，進入關鍵期，29日在桃園進行的犀象戰，犀牛由林晨樺先發，他本季對象隊先發2場，投12.1局沒失分，所以林晨樺要拚中職本季最多的第7勝，機會很大，象隊則由洋投米吉亞先發。
林晨樺去年以「選秀狀元」的身分加入興農牛，但表現不如預期，今年牛變成犀牛，林晨樺也升級，表現出色，目前戰績6勝1敗、防禦率2.96，不僅在勝投榜領先群雄，防禦率也暫居第3，已是今年中職本土投手的代表人物。
29日林晨樺將象隊先發，這是他本季第3次迎戰象隊，前2次先發投12.1局沒失分，戰績2勝0敗，可見林晨樺對象隊有相當好的壓制力，象隊黃仕豪4打數2安打，是象隊陣中對林晨樺打擊表現最好的球員。
象隊則由洋投米吉亞先發，他本季戰績2勝2敗、防禦率3.15，對犀牛戰績1勝0敗、防禦率3.75，犀牛陣中林益全對米吉亞6打數4安打，打擊率6成67，是殺傷力最強的打者。
犀牛爭上半季冠軍，已取得優勢，如果林晨樺能持續有好表現，犀牛將會向上半季冠軍再邁進一步。
