「松鼠」貓天生前肢無骨　真的萌爆

英國的Petal是一隻5個月大的小母貓，因為罹患一種罕見疾病，一雙前腳關節以下天生就沒有骨頭，使得牠的前足掌永久都是向下垂著。因為不能像其他貓咪一樣四處亂走，牠經常都是坐著，樣子看起來就像隻松鼠(squirrel)，所以又被取了個外號Squitten。

Petal之所以發育不全，相信是繁殖場讓貓咪不斷近親繁殖的結果。牠的媽媽Poppet被送到西約克郡的貓救援中心後，生下了三隻小貓，而只有Petal存活下來。

中心職員帶牠去看獸醫，醫師建議要持續替牠按摩前腳，直到長大到可以接受X光檢查。9星期大的時候再接受檢查，證實牠真的患有前足畸型，雖然沒有生命危險，但擔心將來還是會有健康問題。
