隨著 WWDC 2013 的日期愈來愈近，iPad 5 的小道消息也愈來愈多。

WWDC 2013 再過兩個禮拜就要開始，各種 iPad 5 的小道消息也紛紛出籠。目前多數流出的消息，都指向 iPad 5 將會擁有和 iPad mini 類似的細邊框設計。

31 日在之前常有流出照的 Photobucket 上又流出了疑似為 iPad 5 前面板的照片，同樣顯示 iPad 5 的細邊框。雖然無法證實這張照片的真偽，不過對照其他流出的消息來看，iPad 5 採細邊框設計可能性甚高。

就照片上看起來，流出的前面板和 1 月時流出的後面板尺吋相符，另外 30 日由越南網站 Tinhte.vn 流出的 iPad 5 保護殼照片，也顯示 iPad 5 的尺寸將比 iPad 4 來得小，由於 Apple 不太可能更改 iPad 系列的螢幕尺吋，因此 iPad 5 採用細邊框設計的消息又多了一分真實性。
