應中華民國政府邀請，我友邦貝里斯、吐瓦魯、薩爾瓦多共和國及多明尼加共和國駐聯合國常任代表於6月17日至22日訪台。

外交部表示，4位友邦來訪大使歷練豐富，熟稔聯合國事務，且都十分友我。其所屬國家一向大力支持我國際參與，持續以具體行動協助中華民國推動參與聯合國專門機構。

外交部指出，訪團此行將就台灣推動有意義參與國際民航組織（ＩＣＡＯ）和聯合國氣候變化綱要公約（ＵＮＦＣＣＣ）等案，以及如何強化台灣與聯合國體系的互動交流等議題，提供建言並與我廣泛交換意見。
