加寬 薩航推特大號座位

（法新社威靈頓19日電） 大洋洲國家薩摩亞1家小型航空公司表示，將替大噸位乘客推出「特大號客艙」，這種新客艙除了座位寬，前後排距離也特寬，還有協助這些乘客登機的特殊空橋。

薩摩亞航空（Samoa Air）去年底成為全球第1家根據乘客體重收費，而非以座位收費的航空公司。

薩航執行長藍頓（Chris Langton）說，事實證明這項措施成功，目前正在規劃提供特殊服務，讓體重超過130公斤的乘客，在航程中感到更為舒適。

他告訴澳洲國家廣播公司（ABC）：「一般通道都難以通行，好不容易擠進座位，卻沒有放腿的空間。」

他說，新客艙前後排座位距離將增加30至35公分，還有特製的活動空橋，以便讓乘客輕鬆登機。

藍頓說：「這有點類似3人座沙發。」

藍頓預測其他航空公司將跟進，他表示，按照體重計費很合理，而客艙也因座位變大必須重新裝修。（譯者：中央社劉文瑜）
