參觀人權紀念碑 李登輝：沒我的名吧？

【黃揚明／綠島報導】李登輝今參觀綠島人權文化園區。他說，對於這些被抓的思想犯，他很同情也能瞭解他們的心情，所以他擔任總統時，「應該做的，我都有做」，很欽佩這些受難者為了台灣犧牲自己性命、青春。看到刻有受難者姓名的人權紀念碑時，他還問：「沒有李登輝的名吧？」隨後，他哽咽說，人權紀念碑（垂淚碑）落下的水代表受難者母親眼淚、撞擊聲是母親心痛的聲音，應把這些意義讓民眾知道。

對民進黨前主席施明德將於後天舉辦向泰源事件烈士致敬活動。李登輝表示，社會應該記住這個事件，他將參加這個活動，但不會致辭。
