【陳智偉／綜合外電報導】宏達電（2498）才表示今年要強攻全球行銷、打「世界大戰」，就請來悍將打先鋒。據彭博報導，宏達電以約1200萬美元（約3.6億元台幣）代價，邀請《鋼鐵人》（Ironman）系列電影男主角小勞勃道尼（Robert Downey Jr.），為品牌全球宣傳代言2年。

不過，彭博報導指出，小勞勃道尼將以原本樣貌出現在宏達電的電視、平面及看板廣告上，而不是《鋼鐵人》電影裡的扮相，同時對廣告創意元素有最終決定權。
