首屆國家環教獎新北奪特優

行政院環境保護署舉辦的第一屆國家環境教育獎，歷經近一年的初審、複評與決選，新北市政府教育局獲得首屆「國家環境教育獎－機關（構）組」特優獎，是唯一，也是第一個獲此殊榮的機關。

新北市教育局長林騰蛟表示，新北市推展永續環境教育，除提供全市溼地教學課程與永續環境教育資訊，也主動辦理種子教師研習、社區民眾套裝課程研習、學生戶外教學活動及進行民眾環境教育等，服務對象甚至擴及其他縣市來訪團體，連香港、新加坡等國外人士也提出導覽預約，近三年的參訪人數皆達五萬人次以上，去年更達近十萬人次，民眾參與情形相當踴躍。

林騰蛟指出，新北市環境教育的推動已完成一○三至一○六年中程計畫，未來將以「政策與管理」、「建築與設備」、「課程與教學」、「生活與行為」、「專業與成長」五大主軸、十項策略及三十個執行方案，結合市府跨局處的資源與力量，繼續推動新北市環境教育向前進步。

永續環境教育中心表示，中心透過志工培訓、開放導覽參觀、定期辦理主題展與常設展，辦理假日互動式教學，指導民眾將大自然素材經過巧手變成唯妙唯肖的樹枝蟲，或以紙張回收再利用為遨翔天空的鳥兒，或將廢油回收再利用為手工皂等，提升社會民眾環境保育意識與知識，這些都是落實本市永續發展政策很好的方式。
