港機場跑道將提早飽和

香港機場管理局行政總裁許漢忠說，按照目前的趨勢，機場跑道可能會提早一到三年飽和，興建第三條跑道刻不容緩。

許漢忠指出，到二零三零年，機場每年客運量將超過一億人次、貨運量將近九百萬公噸、飛機起降量超過六十萬架次。航空交通需求量，會遠超現有兩條跑道的容量，飽和會比稍早規劃的提早一到三年。他說，興建第三跑道刻不容緩。

他說，機場第三跑道的環評報告，今年底到明年初會完成。
