高雄縣議員鄭新助與200多名扁迷今天分乘五輛遊覽車北上，到台中市南屯區台中監獄門口，朝著台中監獄高喊「阿扁！加油！」在父親節前為目前在台中監獄培德醫院的前總統陳水扁送暖，支持群眾在近中午搭遊覽車離去。
