英媒：辛巴威將違反制裁賣鈾給伊朗

英國泰晤士報(The Times)10日報導，辛巴威已經簽署一項祕密協定，將違反國際社會的制裁，提供伊朗發展核武所需要的原料。

報導引述辛巴威副礦業部長契瑪尼基爾(Gift Chimanikire)說，他看到一份有關出口鈾到伊朗的諒解備忘錄。根據報導，這項協定是在去年簽署。

儘管伊朗當局堅稱，其核子計畫是為了和平的能源用途，但憂心伊朗發展核武的美國和歐洲聯盟仍對伊朗實施制裁。

才剛剛贏得另外5年任期的辛巴威總統穆加比(Robert Mugabe)，曾公開表示支持伊朗的核子發展。

在伊朗前總統阿瑪丁雅(Mahmoud Ahmadinejad)2010年4月訪問辛巴威首都哈拉雷(Harare)時，穆加比就曾表示，辛巴威將在核子議題上持續支持伊朗。

契瑪尼基爾是辛巴威反對黨成員之一，他有可能在新政府上路後遭到撤換。他說這項出口鈾的交易他並不知情，只有少數政府高層知道而已。
