【王家俊／台北報導】內政部上午公布今年1-7月新生兒統計，共11萬6441人，較去年同期減少6.4％；婚生子女計11萬1823人占96.03％，非婚生子女4611人占3.96％、較去年同期增加0.32個百分點，無依兒童7人。

非婚生嬰兒占出生人數比率按縣市別分：以花蓮縣占11.90％最高，台東縣9.02％次之，基隆市6.48％居第3。同期每百名出生嬰兒中，生父或生母為大陸港澳地區或外國籍者有8名（其中生父為1名、生母為7名）；近10年生母為大陸港澳地區者所占比率由5.2％緩降至4.2％、生母為外國籍者所占比率則自93年之8.1％逐年遞減至2.9％。同期出生嬰兒中，每百名女嬰所當男嬰數（性比例）107.9人，嬰兒性比例近3年已降至108以下。
