美助理國務卿：六方會談不能「嘩眾取寵」

正在亞洲巡訪的美國負責亞太事務的助理國務卿丹尼爾．羅素，在離韓前表示：六方會談絕不是「嘩眾取寵」。

韓聯社今天報導，丹尼爾．羅素表示，如果北韓對六方會談的目的視而不見，只是為了確保擁有核武器國的地位、獲得自己想要的東西、而重回談判桌的話，那只不過是「嘩眾取寵」，絕不是六方會談。美方希望北韓發出明確的信號，以證明將儘快實現無核化。

中國和俄羅斯也一直表示，希望能儘快重啟六方會談，而美方的此一強硬姿態，和中國、俄羅斯的立場，形成鮮明對比。有分析指出，為了儘早重啟六方會談，北韓應採取比現在更為積極的態度，以證明實現無核化的意志。
