星巴克發起連署 籲美政府恢復運作

全球最大咖啡連鎖店星巴克（Starbucks）10日表示，將向美國消費者和企業發起連署，共同呼籲政府恢復運作。

星巴克說，11日起消費者將能在全美1.1萬家星巴克門市簽署請願書，或上網站www.ComeTogetherPetition.com，留下大名。另外，星巴克也計劃在紐約時報、華爾街日報、今日美國報和華盛頓郵報上打廣告，並附上請願書，讓民眾自行填寫後交到各分店。

這份請願書呼籲政府恢復運作、準時償債、並在年底前通過長期預算協議。星巴克執行長舒茲（Howard Schultz）說：「令我感到悲哀和震驚的是，美國人沒有管道能表達對政府停擺的挫折和憤怒。」

舒茲也打算致函企業領袖，邀請他們加入連署，並表示他已和許多也擔心政府持續關門的企業執行長接洽。
