協助菲律賓 美國宣布2千萬美元緊急援助

美國政府11日強調，將全面協助菲律賓的海燕颱風災後重建工作，並宣布立即對菲律賓提供2千萬美元的緊急援助。

美國國際發展署(U.S. Agency for International Development，USAID)表示，這筆援助將提供臨時避難所、糧食、救濟品、飲水和改善衛生之用。

另外，美國國務卿凱瑞(John Kerry)11日也表示，美國將對流離失所的菲律賓人民伸出援手。

凱瑞說，他已經向菲律賓外交部長羅沙里歐(Albert del Rosario)保證，美國將提供一切必要的援助。

根據凱瑞的聲明，美國軍方正協助救災物資的發放，美國國際發展署則協助評估災損的情況。而美國國務院也協助派遣退伍軍人前往菲律賓，投入救災工作。

1架美軍C-130運輸機11日已經從菲國首都馬尼拉維拉摩爾空軍基地起飛，前往災情慘重的雷伊泰省首府塔克羅班。機上除載有陸戰隊官兵，還有瓶裝水、發電機、1輛堆高機和2輛卡車。
