美國民主黨高層消息人士告訴國家廣播公司新聞網（NBC News），總統歐巴馬將宣布，由於不符合歐巴馬健保法標準而使保險中斷的民眾，可以繼續維持原本的保險。

但條件是，保險公司必須告知客戶，可以選擇其他保險方案，及他們可能損失的津貼。
