香港無線電視將壹傳媒集團列為不受歡迎媒體，拒絕其記者進入電視城，公司及藝員活動也不接受壹傳媒採訪。

香港無線電視昨晚說，壹傳媒集團旗下的報章和雜誌，就免費電視牌照事件長期針對無線電視作出失實報導，恣意攻擊和醜化無線電視，已遠超新聞媒體應有的報道做法和行為，其目的昭然若揭，顯而易見。

香港蘋果日報對無線的指摘和封殺採訪，深表遺憾。香港蘋果日報總編輯張劍虹回應說，蘋果日報一直關注香港電視新牌照的發照公義，報導實事求是，不存在針對無線的失實報導、無理攻擊及醜化，更遑論趁無線台慶展開狙擊和抹黑。
