據大陸新華社報導，北京市為了減少空氣汙染，26日已緊急取締逾500處戶外的羊肉串烤肉攤。由於空氣汙染嚴重，大陸已經採取緊急因應計畫以降低空汙，包括以汽車車牌「單號單日，雙號雙日」來管制車輛廢氣汙染等；當空汙特別嚴重時學校將停課。
