泰國政府宣布曼谷與周邊省分進入60天的「緊急狀態」，公共衛生部21日下令，18個省的衛生部門首長「必須提防衝突事件，並且做好緊急救治傷者的準備」。

另一方面，泰國紅十字會21日警告，醫療人員在抗議現場不能使用紅十字會的標誌，稱不當使用標誌違反該會的公平與人道主義原則。
