美聯社報導，一名美國官員10日說，美國民權運動領袖麥爾坎X的外孫、28歲的夏巴茲，9日早上在墨西哥首都墨西哥市喪生。要求匿名的這名官員未透露夏巴茲的確切死因，夏巴茲家族表示將在稍後發布聲明。
