老農夫妻鬧離婚　法官勸「珍惜緣分」不准

台中一對結婚近60年的老農夫妻因長期相處問題鬧上法院，83歲的丈夫指控，妻子經常毆打、辱罵他，2人在1981年4月間最後一次親密關係時，妻子還要求收費5百元，此後2人分居同門牌不同棟矮房，有次他暈倒在田裡，妻子竟置之不理。

台中高分院調查後認為，人生不過短短數十寒暑，兩人近一甲子的婚姻，已屬難得，理應更加珍惜緣分，雖然妻子真的曾因一次細故傷害老農被判拘役20天，但夫妻間長期相處，發生爭執屬人情之常，老農也無法證明真的曾暈倒，而妻子不去救他，雙方並無重大無法回復的破綻，因此判決不准離婚，案經最高法院駁回上訴定讞。
