救青年失業 歐盟主席籲積極

（法新社布魯塞爾24日電） 歐洲理事會常任主席范宏畢（Herman Van Rompuy）今天呼籲歐洲各國領導人伸出援手，想辦法將歐洲聯盟各國達到歷史新高水準的青年失業率降下來。

范宏畢致函歐盟各國元首及政府領導人，表示他打算在6月27日和28日的歐盟高峰會上，把降低失業率列為議程重點。

他說：「歐盟各國失業人數，尤其是年輕人，來到歷史新高水準。」他還說：「這幾乎成為歐盟各會員國最急迫的問題之一。這也是我們必須盡最大努力一同因應的理由。」

范宏畢敦促各國領導人「積極貢獻」，打擊青年失業率。他表示，6月的高峰會將是動員各層級為共同目標努力的大好機會，這個目標就是激勵年輕人重返就業市場或接受培訓。（譯者：中央社盧映孜）
