民進黨主席蘇貞昌今（25）日指出，2014年七合一的大選，必須有好的綢繆規畫，有靈活的運作提名，各方面的同心協力，從地方大大的成功，為2016國會過半、總統勝選鋪陳契機。
民進黨今日下午舉行全代會，處理中央黨部的提案，以及各黨代表提案，其中包括「公職提名條例」、「臺海人權決議文」，以及「中國事務委員會舉辦中國政策辯論」、「以立委選舉增設區黨部」等案。
原本立委陳唐山提案「恢復陳水扁黨籍」，由於柯建銘已協助陳水扁申請入黨，因此昨日下午主動撤案。
蘇貞昌致詞表示，眼前民進黨面對兩個大戰役，一是下半年停建核四的公投案，以及2014年七合一的大選，期勉全體同志和民意站在一起，繼續維持綠色執政，品質保證，重回執政。
蘇貞昌表示，對於下半年停建核四的公投案，鳥籠公投法需900多萬人出來投票才能通過，黨團要在立法院努力通過反核三法，修改鳥籠公投法，民進黨也要努力讓各地反核民意聚集起來，希望在年底贏得公投，停建核四。
蘇貞昌強調，2014年七合一的大選，民進黨要面對6席的院轄市長，16席的縣市長，還有更多的鄉鎮市長、議員、村里長、代表等共一萬多個席次，民進黨必須有好的綢繆規畫，有靈活的運作提名。
蘇貞昌表示，民進黨要像當年一樣，從地方大大的成功才能鋪陳在2016要國會過半，總統勝選的契機。
