外交部26日表示，菲律賓三家主流電子媒體在24日赴小琉球採訪「廣大興28號」罹難者洪石成家屬後，刊登標題為「漁民家屬堅信其死亡非意外」的報導，除了提及我國四項要求，新聞也提到，在台菲勞獲得良好照護，馬尼拉經濟文化辦事處（MECO）也題到，在台並沒有騷擾菲人的新事件。
外交部表示，菲律賓媒體ABS-CBN、GMA7和TV5/ABC5，及菲律賓「菲律賓每日詢問者報」24日前往小琉球採訪，隨即都發表友台報導。
其中ABS-CBN以「漁民家屬堅信其死亡非意外」為題，指出洪石成家屬堅信其死亡並非意外，此外該新聞也指出，在台菲勞前往工作地點有警衛護送及巴士接送，證明台灣政府對菲勞的照料。另馬尼拉經濟文化辦事處（MECO）也表示，在台灣並沒有騷擾菲人的新事件。
「每日詢問者報」則在25日的報導中指出，「廣大興28號」船長洪育智宣稱事件發生當日，該船是在「公共漁場區域」作業，也未試圖衝撞菲律賓公務船，他們是在無挑釁情形下被開槍射擊。
罹難者洪石成的長女洪慈綪表示，洪石成的死是「謀殺」，他要求公開菲律賓海岸巡防隊所拍攝的影帶，並堅持菲律賓政府應召開國際記者會並對死者道歉。
「馬尼拉標準今日報」25日則轉述馬尼拉經濟文化辦事處理事主席裴瑞茲談話，強調菲律賓司法部同意我方調查人員檢視事件影帶；菲律賓農業部部也希望台菲技術工作小組能於今年6月、7月，就台菲漁業協議展開討論，找尋雙方都可接受的方案。 (接下一頁)
