助巴勒斯坦經濟 美投資40億美元

美國國務卿凱瑞26日宣布一項40億美元的投資計畫，將協助巴勒斯坦改善經濟狀況。

凱瑞正致力於促成以色列和巴勒斯坦重回和平談判，他表示，創造工作機會，讓巴勒斯坦年輕人能夠有比較好的經濟前景，同樣重要。

凱瑞說，他已經要求中東相關四方(聯合國、歐洲聯盟、美國、俄羅斯)的特使布萊爾(Tony Blair)擬定提振包括觀光、建築、資訊科技以及農業等的計畫。

凱瑞說，國際將投入40億美元投資巴勒斯坦的相關建設。專家估計，這些投資在未來3年使巴勒斯坦的國內生產毛額(GDP)最高成長50%。

凱瑞並且表示，這些投資將創造大量工作機會，根據最樂觀的估計，可望使目前巴勒斯坦高達21%的失業率，大幅減少三分之二到8%，而薪資中位數也可望提高40%。
