北市衛星監測坡地 巡查無死角

為遏止山坡地 違規濫墾濫伐，提升查報取締效能，抑止心存僥倖違規，台北市府創全台各縣市之先，今年起運用高精度衛星遙測技術，每月定期進行衛星影像變異分析，篩選出的變異點，交由巡山員至現場查証，避免巡查死角現象。

大地工程處長林裕益表示，台北市是多山的城市，山坡地面積占有55 %，有鑑於人為不當的開發，往往是造成坡地災害的主因，繼日前成立「貓頭鷹巡守隊」後，為輔助巡守人力，大地處結合科技輔助人力，運用「福衛二號」所拍攝2公尺像元之高解析度影像，以一年12次的頻率進行植生變異分析。
