【廖珮君／台北報導】金管會新任主委曾銘宗昨首度召開記者會，親上火線回應各方關切議題，對於外界高度關注台新併彰銀一案，曾銘宗直言：「檢視過去整併案，非合意購併在國內外能成功的機會相當少」，意味不贊成非合意購併，台新若要逼婚彰銀，恐難過金管會一關。
 
對於外界認為我金融業產值過低，曾銘宗直為此指標已失去準確性。他說，各國產業結構不同，如新加坡和香港沒有製造業，金融業比重高，其次產值中，很多國外收入不計入。他說：「我們希望金融業走出台灣創造盈餘，但創造這部份卻不放入國內生產毛額中」，用國內生產毛額衡量不盡合理，無法反映金融業真實情況。
