亞太城市高峰會開幕　姐妹市共襄盛舉

【涂建豐／高雄報導】2013亞太城市高峰會今天在高雄巨蛋開幕，共11個高雄姊妹市參與，高雄市長陳菊與八王子市、小岩城及貝里斯等姊妹市首長會晤，歡迎大家蒞臨高雄，與世界各國直接對談，交換城市治理、挑戰的經驗，共創城市進步，也盼與姊妹市加強互動交流，深化彼此情誼。
 
陳菊歡迎八王子市長石森孝志出席，她表示，八王子市於2006年與高雄締盟，雙方情誼向來深厚、往來密切，盼藉此次APCS盛會，增進彼此在城市革新等方面的寶貴經驗。身為日本親密的伙伴，日本取得2020奧運主辦權，全國舉國歡騰，陳菊也特別恭喜日本申奧成功。
