世界大賽4勝2敗　紅襪近10年3度封王

【王覺一／綜合報導】紅襪今天靠著維克托里諾(Shane Victorino)清壘的二壘打，單場貢獻4分打點，加上祖魯(Stephen Drew)陽春砲，以6比1擊敗紅雀，並以4勝2敗贏得隊史第7座、也是近10年第3座世界大賽冠軍。
 
維克托里諾在美聯冠軍戰第6場轟出滿貫砲，助紅襪以5比2逆轉淘汰老虎。世界大賽雖然因傷苦無表現，4、5兩場還休兵，昨天復出首打席，就在3局下滿壘2出局時，一棒將球轟到左外野「綠色怪物」牆上，助紅襪取得3比0領先。祖魯在4局下以陽春砲開局，引爆另1個單局3分攻勢。
 
紅雀菜鳥投手瓦卡(Michael Wacha)先發3.2局被敲5安打，失6分都是自責分，不僅無法再次帶領不死鳥紅雀起死回生，個人季後賽4場先發全勝的傳奇也宣告落幕。
