健康照顧服務　臺北醫院推「中期照護」病房

臺北醫院為提供患者在急性醫療後與出院返家間的持續性照顧，設置有五張床位提供中期照護服務，設有交誼廳、配膳室、復健等設備。提供整合性的健康照顧服務，照護內容包括身體功能復健、營養狀況調整、藥物諮詢、認知功能恢復、出院安置及訓練家屬照護作業，並訓練家屬照顧、復健，搭配照顧服務員提供服務，經由醫師、護理師、專業復健師、臨床藥師、營養師以及社工師之專業評估，搭配積極復健，以協助病患恢復功能。

院長林水龍表示，臺北醫院為衛生福利部所屬醫院，更是責無旁貸，因此針對因外科疾病開刀或內科急性疾病所產生的身體功能退化等需要急性後照護的病患，開設「中期照護」病房，協助出院後無法馬上回家之病患，在疾病控制穩定後，經由「中期照護」繼續在醫院接受積極的團隊照護及積極復健，協助病患恢復功能，同時減緩家屬在照護上的負擔。
