「蘇格蘭風笛在台中」音樂會系列活動！昨天晚間7時半在圓滿戶外劇場盛大舉行，因正逢聖安德魯斯日，是蘇格蘭傳統守護神的紀念日，乃年度最大節慶；現場吸引逾6000人參加。

配合蘇格蘭聖安德魯斯日，主辦單位文化局在現場發送代表聖安德魯的藍底白色X型「Saltire」旗幟及我國國旗給入場民眾人手1旗。

晚間8時，市長胡志強到場致詞，除螢幕打上「Saltire」旗幟圖樣，介紹聖安德魯日的由來；還由高地舞者教導觀眾蘇格蘭傳統舞蹈，現場旗海飄揚。

音樂會重頭戲，由皇家史特林風笛樂團，Aceltica樂團、Ballochleam高地舞者表演〈Scotland the Brave〉、〈Caledonia〉、〈Amazing Grace〉等歌曲；最後以〈Auld Lang Sine〉畫下完美句點。
