高瑞錚認真經營閱讀　要救偏鄉孩子

「憨人有憨夢！」南投縣竹山鎮欣榮圖書館由高瑞錚7年前建立，每年花費1千2百萬營運，組織讀書會、研習班、展覽，付出不求回報，今天他說，只要每天多一個孩子愛書，就心滿意足。

律師出身的高瑞錚，為了報答父母養育之恩，回饋家鄉竹山鎮，他認真經營圖書館，每個月台北、竹山兩邊跑，要讓欣榮圖書館成為大人小孩都愛去的圖書樂園。

「什麼都能省，買書不能省」高瑞錚堅持，要讓竹山人養成閱讀習慣，每年購書預算兩百萬，固定購買新書，還製作家庭借閱證，提高家庭借閱書本數與天數，鼓勵親子共讀。

「閱讀要長久耕耘，沒有立即的掌聲。」高瑞錚常常感到挫折，但他不放棄，經過多年努力，欣榮圖書館已經成為竹山人的大書房，每年平均都有近30萬的借閱量。
