紐西蘭利率維持歷史低點 通膨增壓將升息

紐西蘭中央銀行--紐西蘭儲備銀行(Reserve Bank of New Zealand)，今天(12日)將基準利率維持在2.5%的歷史低點不變，但表示為了維持通貨膨脹在控制中，會在必要時升息。

為了藉由低利率來刺激經濟成長，紐西蘭自2011年3月以來，就將官方現金利率(official cash rate，OCR)維持在這個水平。

紐西蘭央行總裁惠勒(Graeme Wheeler)表示，一旦通膨壓力的威脅超出設定的1.0-3.0%目標，央行將會調高利率。

紐西蘭截至9月止的12個月年度通膨率為1.4%。
