【於慶中／綜合外電報導】擂台上激戰看似風光，但其實拳拳到肉，隨時受傷。前天晚間(28日)在美國「賭城」拉斯維加斯(Las Vegas)舉行的第168屆《終極格鬥冠軍賽》(UFC，Ultimate Fighting Championship)，巴西選手席爾瓦(Anderson Silva)在混合武術中量級冠軍賽中硬生生踢斷腿，很可能以後都無法再參加比賽。

根據《洛杉磯時報》的報導，38歲的席爾瓦，和來自紐約的韋特曼(Chris Weidman)，在第二回合鬥得你死我活，席爾瓦用左腳用力踼對方，對方還他一腳在腰間，然後席爾瓦決定再多踢對方一下，但這一踼卻成為他人生的轉捩點，他的左腳小腿骨從中斷開一半，影片中可以看到他的小腿突然呈現不正常彎曲，接著他立即倒在地上痛苦大叫，韋特曼隨即贏得比賽，席爾瓦則被送入創傷中心就醫，比賽生涯或許就此結束。
