坎城影展驚傳槍響！評審奧地利影帝克里斯多夫瓦茲（Christoph Waltz）與法國影帝丹尼爾奧圖，昨在坎城受訪時，一名男子拿出手槍，並威脅要引爆手榴彈，警察大喊：「快跑！他有槍！」全員驚慌逃散。男子開了兩槍，隨即被警方制伏逮捕；由於兩發都是空包彈，無人傷亡。

由於事發地點就在評審下榻的馬丁尼茲飯店對面，本屆擔任評審的台灣導演李安卻一無所悉，未受影響。李安還說：「我是早上才知道這件事，我還是希望愛與和平。」

李安導演首度出任坎城影展評審。
