| 大成國中弦樂隊的學生充滿自信，每個人都樂在學習，每周三天的練習時間，是學生最快樂的時光。 記者李承穎／攝影 |

走進南投埔里大成國中，悠揚的弦樂聲入耳，常讓人以為是專業的管弦樂團表演，其實這是國中生組成的管弦樂隊，學生們稚嫩的手彈奏著樂器，展現高度專業，成立短短三年，卻拿下全國決賽特優第一名。
三年前，校長蔡秋玲剛到大成國中報到，她聽說大成曾有管弦樂隊，卻早已解散，也發現許多學生國小時都學過小提琴等樂器，上了國中卻為升學壓力而放棄，非常可惜。

| 美今年首季成長下修至1.8%

美國商務部今天(26日)公布數據指出，美國經濟今年第一季只成長了1.8%，比上一次預估的成長2.4%出現大幅下修。
