(中央社記者江明晏台北2013年5月28日電)根據調查，手機毀損機率比手機遺失或遭竊機率高，美國智慧型手機保護裝置品牌OtterBox宣布，全系列產品將進軍台灣，搶攻3C消費市場。

根據SquareTradeTM日前發布的統計，手機意外毀損比手機遺失或遭竊的機率高上10倍，迫使消費者必須額外花費修復或購買新機。

有鑑於此，美國智慧型手機保護裝置品牌OtterBox正式宣布，全系列產品將進軍台灣市場，OtterBox亞太區董事總經理尼茲貝特(Steve Nisbet)表示，台灣及亞太地區是OtterBox相當重視的市場，不論是通勤上班族，或近年來蓬勃的單車、運動風氣，都展現出十足的發展潛力，已準備好OtterBox全系列產品，因應台灣市場多元的需求。
