日經新聞報導，Panasonic於30日公佈了主要事業今後3年的營運計畫。Panasonic表示，在電視/面板事業部分，將擺脫對價格急遽下滑的AV機器的依賴度，力求於今年度內(2014年3月底前)將非電視用液晶面板的銷售額佔比自上年度的2成大幅提高至8成，並力求於2015年度將電視/面板事業轉虧為盈。Panasonic電視/面板事業上年度營損額達885億日圓，今年度虧損額預估將縮小至545億日圓。

另外，在手機事業部分，Panasonic將持續把手機研發及生產業務委外進行，力求於今年度將手機事業固定費用刪減4成，且Panasonic計劃於日美推出堅固、可長時間使用的特殊用途智慧手機產品，即比起消費性市場，Panasonic將更重視商用市場。

另據法新社報導，長年虧損的Panasonic 30日宣布，三年內旗下的自動與工業系統部門將裁員5,000人。該部門現有11.1萬人，生產項目含括記憶體晶片、汽車導航系統等。

截至上年度為止，Panasonic虧損額(淨損額)已連續2年超越7,000億日圓，Panasonic預估今年度合併純益將為500億日圓。
