南市開發冷卻背心供消防人員使用

在火場酷熱環境下，消防人員救災時易受火場幅射熱傷害，台南市消防局動腦筋想出冷卻背心，由業者開發，今天上午發表後，將分發全市800名消防人員每人一件降溫。

台南市消防局指出，冷卻背心可放置5小包冷卻劑，可保持約2小時降溫約12.8℃，讓救災人員穿身上後保持涼爽。

台南市長賴清德身為醫師，他今天表示，冷卻背心可使消防人員救火時降溫，但消防人員在火場時更應眼觀四方，耳聽八方，提高警覺隨時注意火場環境的變化。
