Free Download Manager(FDM)是一款實用的免費檔案下載軟體，支援續傳下載功能，新版更可下載BT，可以依照所使用的連線頻寬來設定抓檔的速限，下載的時候，會自動分配最佳的下載分割數，把下載的性能操到極限，若是拿來跟IE的下載比較，便不難發現，使用此類下載工具既省時又方便。（阿榮）（下載）

測試版支援下列功能：
1）可以產出免安裝版「file→create portable version」。
2）支援 BT 下載。
[2007.07.25] 測試版內建中文。
[2007.08.30] 即日起免安裝版改用 Lite 版，它拿掉 BT 下載、影片轉檔、上傳工具這三個功能，若有需要用到，請改裝官方安裝版，再點連結下載所需的外掛，以外掛方式加裝！
[2008.09.26] 用這套下載華碩的筆電驅動程式會慢到吐血，它下載速度不到 1 K，FlashGet 老大哥卻可以跑到 100 K。
[2011.12.28] 上次更新：2010-05-01，此為免安裝版而非Portable，所以設定值為不可攜。
[2012.05.29] 3.8版以後已無中文語系！暫停製作免安裝版，改發佈官方英文安裝版，保留3.0.852免安裝中文版給習慣中文的讀者下載使用。
