柯林頓：盼美國出現女總統

正在北京訪問的美國前總統柯林頓(Bill Clinton)今天(18日)表示，他希望能夠在有生之年，看到白宮出現女總統。

柯林頓是在中國知名雜誌「財經」主辦的會議中，發表以上的評論。

柯林頓夫人希拉蕊曾經爭取2008年民主黨總統候選人提名，最後不幸落敗。今年稍早，希拉蕊卸下美國國務卿一職，但截至目前為止，她還沒有公開表達再度角逐提名的計畫。

柯林頓希望，他有生之年能夠看到1位美國女總統；而且他認為，這對美國和全世界都是好事。

不過，柯林頓也表示，他不知道希拉蕊是否要爭取提名，因此，這件事還沒有說定。
